  • Travis works within the RSM trade advisory services practice, and is a licensed U.S. customs broker. As a known, trusted advisor in customs and international trade matters, he assists companies with data-driven, practical solutions to reduce tariff exposure and support compliance. Travis has served a wide range of companies across all industries, helping them avoid, reduce and recover duties and other indirect taxes by developing and implementing value-added solutions.
  • Previously, Travis led the customs reconciliation and free trade advisory services at the consulting arm of one of the world’s largest logistics and customs services providers. More recently, he was a manager in the customs and international trade group of a major accounting and professional services firm, where he led client-delivery teams on customs audits, prior disclosures and compliance program development. Travis effectively leverages his deep technical expertise to help clients achieve tariff deferral, reduction and exemption through special programs such as foreign trade zones, bonded operations and duty drawback.
  • He has also successfully petitioned the United States trade representative against Section 301 “China tariffs” on behalf of multiple clients, resulting in millions of dollars in exempted and recovered customs duties and fees.
